Mike A. Ohiorenoya is the General Overseer and Senior Pastor of Covenanters Vintage Church, with headquarters in Lagos, Nigeria. He is a Bible teacher with a very deep insight into practical aspects of God’s Word.
He is a retired University Lecturer and was for many years a consultant on Information Systems to banks and financial institutions as well as the United Nations.
He holds a B.Sc (Benin) Applied Physics, M.Sc. (B’ham) Computer Science and PhD Computer Science from Brunel University, Uxbridge, England, specializing in Database Systems. He is an alumnus of the Haggai Institute, Singapore and a Distinguished Alumnus of the University of Benin Alumni Association.
He was President of the University of Benin Christian Union for two academic sessions. He has been pastoring continuously for 30 years and planted Churches that are thriving to date.
He belongs to the Board of several Christian and Humanitarian organizations among which are:
1) Chairman Board of Trustees, University of Benin Christian Union – NIFES Alumni Association, Hdqtrs. Benin City
2) Member of Council, Wellspring University, Benin City;
3) Chairman board of trustees Vision International Christian Ministries, Lagos;
4) Member of Council, University of Benin Alumni association, Benin City;
He is the author of “Your Future in His Hands (1984);” “The Anointed Pulpit (1992)”; “They Are Gone (2001),” “How to Pray Destiny Changing Prayers (2004);” “The True Purpose of the Tithe (2006);” “The Power of Focus and Imagination (2008);” and “Set Free by Grace (2015);”
He is married to Mary, a retired Nurse and Co-Pastor and they are blessed with three children and five grandchildren.
